Beauty of Geology
Imagine this structure is subsurface, a
vertical and horizontal well will be drilled through it, and your manager asked
you to prepare to do a near-wellbore structural analysis on each well. What
logging suite would you recommend? Send your suggestions to

Meandering River
A river that flows in a distinct channel
which follows a winding, hence meandering path. Parts of a meandering channel
are the line following the deepest point, thalweg, the sandy deposits on the inside of the
bend, point bar, and the isolated oxbow lake, caused by the cut-off of a
meander loop. The meander loop migrates depositing the point bar, which make up
the reservoirs. This is culled from IPE HWU Petroleum Geoscience manual.
