Surface preparation-blasting (as requested by the coating specification) |
A coating specification is a formal document that tells the contractor (applicator) what to do and where to do it but generally does not tell him how to do it. Coating Specifications are normally tailored to meet the requirements of a particular job, and they can be in many forms and in various degrees of quality and clarity. Sometimes a coating specification is so vague as to defy interpretation by anyone, including the person who wrote it.
